A little bit of History

Having worked in the UK for a number of years learning the tricks of the trade, upon returning to South Africa and finding a massive gap in the emerging custom installation market, Sphere Custom Design was established. 

We started small and even today are a small, practical company - small means we are more easily approachable, we are efficient and capable, and at the end of the day - the responsibility lays with us. 

Our passion for this industry places us at the top of our game - when it comes to designing a system, and consulting on a site, our internationally recognised CEDIA qualifications, and our experience with relevant boundary issues usually associated with standard installations (think decor, colour, cabinetry, layout and lighting) as well as our in-depth technical knowledge of Audio Visual systems makes us the perfect choice for any dealer, client or end user. 

Having crafted out our niche in the market we now fully support a growing product range that spans all aspects of high end home cinema and audio visual installations, and are happy to assist on projects ranging from entry level to those which win worldwide awards.

Our exclusive brands share unique characteristics which allow them to reach far beyond the usual run-of-the-mill products, and in turn allow us to assist our dealers in selling and installing not only that little something special which blows your mind, your hair (and requirements) away, but also something that will thrill you over and over and over
